Tessellates is a few things, right now.

It's a better display for music -- *much* better than the spreadsheet music views typically on offer.

It's a personal project to organize my own music collection that has gone a bit rogue. It wants to be a delight to use, somewhere between Nintendo and Apple, heavy on the Nintendo.

If you're a certain kind of music nerd who wants to spend more time with the music you have, tessellates will probably be for you.

goals

Tessellates has big dreams: imports and playback from major streaming services (Apple, YouTube, SoundCloud, etc); imports from indie darlings (Discogs, Rekordbox, etc); annotations and markup on release; stats; export to easy data formats -- and much more.

I use LLMs for coding for tessellates, especially for arcane CSS that I am not expert in.

I do not use any LLMs or AI tools for design choices or interaction choices.
